Collecting photos for a celebration of life

To gather photos for a memorial or celebration of life, send family and friends one link or print a QR code for the service. They upload pictures from their phone browser, including old photos, without installing an app or creating an account. The family receives one private album and can show it as a slideshow or print it as a book.

Simple enough for a hard week

You do not need to collect phone numbers or teach anyone a new tool. The link works on every phone and computer, and people can upload before the service, on the day, or afterwards.

A slideshow for the service

The slideshow runs in any browser. Open it on the screen at the venue and it plays the photos that friends and family have shared.

Stories as well as pictures

The guest book collects written, audio, and video messages. Many people find it easier to record a short memory than to speak in front of the room.

Questions

Do guests need to download an app or create an account?
No. Guests scan the QR code or tap the link, and the upload page opens in their phone's browser. There is no app to install and no sign-up, which is why older relatives use it too.
Can we collect photos before the service?
Yes. Send the link as soon as the album exists. Uploads appear right away, so you can use them for a printed program or the slideshow.
Can the family remove photos?
Yes. The host can remove any upload at any time.
Who can see the photos?
Only people who have your album link or QR code. Albums are not listed publicly and are not indexed by search engines. As the host you can remove any photo, and you decide whether guests can browse the gallery or only upload.
