Graduation party photos, all in one place
For a graduation party or open house, put a QR code on the food table and the yard sign. Family, friends, and classmates scan it and upload their photos from the phone browser, with no app and no sign-up. You end up with one album that covers the ceremony, the party, and the pictures your relatives took.
Built for an open house
Guests come and go over several hours, and most of them never meet each other. A group chat does not work for that. A QR code does: everyone who walks past the table can add their pictures, and nobody needs anyone's phone number.
Ceremony and party in the same album
Share the link with the relatives who sat in the stands, and put the QR code out at the party. Photos sort by the time they were taken, so the cap toss comes before the cake.
A book for the graduate
Heysnaps can turn the album into a hardcover photo book. It makes a good gift from the family, and it is ready before the graduate leaves for college.
Questions
- Do guests need to download an app or create an account?
- No. Guests scan the QR code or tap the link, and the upload page opens in their phone's browser. There is no app to install and no sign-up, which is why older relatives use it too.
- Can grandparents use it?
- Yes. There is nothing to install and no password. If someone can open their phone camera, they can upload. You can also send the link by text or email for relatives who were not there.
- Can several families share one album for a joint party?
- Yes. One album and one QR code work for a joint party. If you would rather keep things separate, create one album per graduate.
- Who can see the photos?
- Only people who have your album link or QR code. Albums are not listed publicly and are not indexed by search engines. As the host you can remove any photo, and you decide whether guests can browse the gallery or only upload.
