How Heysnaps works

You create an album, print the QR code, and put it where guests will see it. Guests scan it and upload photos and videos from their phone's browser, with no app and no account. Everything lands in one private album that you can show live on a screen, download in full quality, and turn into a printed photo book.

Step 1: Set up your album

Give the album a name and a date. You get a QR code and a share link right away, plus table signs you can print at home. Setting up takes a few minutes, and you can test the upload yourself before you pay.

Step 2: Guests scan and upload

Put the sign on the tables, at the bar, or by the entrance. Guests point their phone camera at the code and pick photos or videos from their camera roll. If your plan includes the guest book, they can also record a short message.

The upload page works in every current phone browser. Nobody has to install anything, remember a password, or join a group chat.

Step 3: Watch it come together

Open the live slideshow on a TV or projector and new photos appear during the party. Afterwards you have every guest's pictures in one place, in original quality, ready to download as a ZIP file.

Step 4: Keep it

Heysnaps lays out a hardcover photo book from the best shots automatically. It removes near-duplicates, keeps faces inside the frame, and sorts the pages by time. You can change any page before you order. You can also create a vertical highlight video for sharing.

Questions

Do guests need to download an app or create an account?
No. Guests scan the QR code or tap the link, and the upload page opens in their phone's browser. There is no app to install and no sign-up, which is why older relatives use it too.
Does it work without good cell service at the venue?
Uploads need a connection, but they do not have to happen during the event. Guests can scan the code at the party and upload later from home.
Who can see the photos?
Only people who have your album link or QR code. Albums are not listed publicly and are not indexed by search engines. As the host you can remove any photo, and you decide whether guests can browse the gallery or only upload.
Can guests upload videos?
Yes, on the plans that include video. Photos are kept in the quality the guest uploads.
