Family reunion photos in one shared album
To collect photos from a family reunion, share one QR code or link with every branch of the family. Relatives upload from their phone browser without an app or an account, so it works for the teenagers and the great-aunts alike. Everyone's pictures end up in one private album you can turn into a printed book.
No app, so everyone takes part
Family reunions fail at photo sharing for one reason: half the family is on a different phone, a different chat app, or no chat app at all. A link that opens in the browser removes that problem.
Old photos welcome
Guests can upload any picture from their phone, including scans of old family photos. Ask relatives to bring them, and the album becomes a small family archive.
One book, many copies
Heysnaps lays out a hardcover photo book from the album. Relatives who have the album link can order their own copy, so you do not have to collect money or addresses.
Questions
- Do guests need to download an app or create an account?
- No. Guests scan the QR code or tap the link, and the upload page opens in their phone's browser. There is no app to install and no sign-up, which is why older relatives use it too.
- Can relatives who could not come still add photos?
- Yes. Send them the link. They can upload from anywhere and see the album if you turn on the guest gallery.
- How long are the photos kept?
- For the storage period of your plan, counted from the event. You can download everything in original quality at any time and extend the storage if you want to keep the album online longer.
- Who can see the photos?
- Only people who have your album link or QR code. Albums are not listed publicly and are not indexed by search engines. As the host you can remove any photo, and you decide whether guests can browse the gallery or only upload.
